CAG Supporting Families Affected by the Marshall Fire

The Marshall fire in Superior and Louisville was devastating to so many. Houses lost, the lifes of two people and countless pets lost, all possessions gone! Although this geographical area doesn't fall into the zip codes we usually support (80403 and 80401), we still wanted to do our part.

CAG helped by giving gift cards to Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette and we wanted to thank everyone who matched our donation. Overall, we donated $500 Target gift cards and $500 Walmart gift cards as well as 20x $25 gift cards for our thrift shop. Besides monetary donations, we provided 349 pounds of food (crackers, mac and cheese, oatmeal, juice boxes, fruit pouches, ramen, noodle cups) as well as diapers, formula, wipes, toilet paper, anti-bacterial wipes.

Sister Carmen Community Center (SCCC) is a non-religious agency that has supported the community since 1978. It is their mission to provide assistance to residents of East Boulder County who are in need, without discrimination.

Even with CAG's main area being Golden, we are here to support our fellow organization that are covering other areas. Other organizations like SCCC, please reach out to us if you need help!
