CAG's Executive Director
Britni LeRoux
With a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, volunteer management, fundraising, program development, diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI), as well as nonprofit and for-profit store management, Britni brings a wealth of expertise to her roles. Throughout her professional journey, she has had the privilege of embracing a wide array of leadership opportunities. She has experience leading diverse teams, collaborating with dedicated volunteers, addressing complex social and environmental issues, and playing a pivotal role in driving transformative change within the organizations she has worked with. Britni's approach to challenges is comprehensive, complemented by a touch of humor, which allows her to guide her team in thinking strategically about solutions and cultivating a robust network of partners who share a common goal of fortifying communities and assisting those in need.
When not at work, Britni lives in the mountains with her two dogs, Bella and Cooper, and her husband. She is a semi-decent hiker, fly fishing novice, mountain explorer, an enthusiastic wildlife/lifestyle photographer, and a self-proclaimed National Park Geek.

Jolie Morries
Julie is from Casper, Wyoming and graduated college at the University of Wyoming. She moved to Golden five years ago, where she now lives with her husband, a dog, and a cat. Julie started working with the CAG in November, and she is passionate about helping people who need food and resources in our community.

Mark Pattridge
Mark grew up in Golden and has lived here most of his life. Hisfamily has been quite involved with the CAG over the years. In 2019 Mark retired from family medicine and has been the Board President for the last 2 years.

Mandy Liao
Mandy is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was a 4th grade teacher there for almost ten years. Seven years ago, her family moved to Colorado for her husband’s job. Mandy has two young sons and loves everything Golden has to offer as a family. She has volunteered in the CAG food pantry for almost six years and has been on the board in various positions for the
past four years. Volunteering at the CAG and helping support our community has been such a fulfilling experience for her.

Chris Davell
Chris and moved to Colorado from South Florida in 2019 for a change of environment and to be closer to his kids. He quickly fell in love with Golden and became involved in the community. He started volunteering at CAG soon after arriving in town. Chris' background is in finance, and he has been volunteering for nonprofits for most of his adult life. He joined the board last year and loves the mission and the dedication of the staff, volunteers and other board members.

Jo Schantz
Jo is the executive director for the Jefferson County Library Foundation, a position she has held for the past 8 years. She has more than 25 years of senior-level experience in management, program development, and fundraising. Jo has also held leadership positions in a number of Denver-area nonprofits, serving as executive director of Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance; chief development officer of Veterans Green Jobs; and senior development officer Griffith Centers for Children, Inc. Jo lives in Golden and participated in Leadership Golden in 2018.

Aimee Valdez
Aimee has lived in Golden for 20 years and has been a volunteer at CAG for 11 years (Fridays!). She and her husband own a few businesses in downtown Golden. Her business career was in crisis and corporate communications, first at a Chicago agency, then for Coors, and after that with her own consultancy working with CEOs at several international companies.

Barry Bettis
Barry was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, before moving to Colorado in the mid 70’s. He worked for the City of Arvada parks department, taking care of
parks for 36 years. About 6 years ago barry retired and started volunteering for
CAG. Together with his wife, Liz they live in Golden and enjoy working at CAG and spending some winter time at their other home in Cape Coral FL.
