Thank you all for coming to CAG's Inaugural Carnival & Fashion Show on April 24th at the Golden High School.
It was a lot of fun and the audience of about 100 people really enjoyed watching the Fashion Show and taking advantage of the offered activities.
CAG's Fashion Show
Under supervision of Family & Consumer Science Teacher Stephanie Thomson, Golden High School Fashion & Design students were tasked with reusing clothing items they found at the CAG thrift store, while applying their know-how gained in their Fashion & Design class. Watch the video to see the individual items that were reused.
Carnival-themed Activities
Especially our younger participants enjoyed the mask making, face painting, and of course the snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn. The tarot card reader was appreciated by the not-so-young audience.
Thank you Cocktail Caravan for providing fresh an healthy mocktails and La Rue Bayou for offering delicious food, from Shrimp Po-Boy to Beignets!
