Sometimes we get questions why the CAG Thrift store is offering some pricey items. A used mink coat for $1200, a Levi's Jean jacket for $80 or a Louis Vuitton bag for $300 are great examples.
Yes, all those items were donated to us, but what the typical person probably doesn't know is that those items are donated to us by generous people with the intention to raise funds for the CAG Food Pantry. Some people cannot afford to support us directly financially, but they do have this bag in their closet that they don't care much about... CAG is happy to find a new proud owner and at the same time use the funds from the sale to support our programs. All proceeds from the CAG Thrift Store support the CAG Food Pantry.
If you are ready to clean out your closet, go ahead and then come by CAG Wednesdays or Fridays between 10am and 3pm to drop them off. Our food pantry clients will appreciate it! Thank you all for your support!
