What a year! Our Thrift Store had its best year ever with sales reaching $67,000, which is actually a 91% increase over 2020!
A lot of nice donation have come in and the volunteers have done a great job of sorting, pricing and displaying the items. We put a lot of time into volunteer training, communication on merchandising and customer service and it paid off!
CAG began donating to the fellow non profit Sole 4 Souls. In 6 months we donated 565 usable shoes.
We also hosted a local artist - Janet Wegman. She makes purses, jewelry, kitchen accessories and other creative items. Janet donates 40% of the proceeds back to the CAG. It's definitely a win-win situation!
