Greetings and blessings for a wonderful New Year,

 

2020...what a year it has been!  We were thrown into a crisis like we have never experienced before; nor could we ever so imagine. In response to the Covid 19 crisis, we here at CAG, made several changes, several times, to our operations so we could continue to stay open and respond to our client’s needs.

 

We know that you have many options when it comes to spending your dollars. Covid 19 has required us all to dig a little deeper and give a little more.  We are so fortunate here in Golden to have a community that has risen to the crisis: donating personal dollars, giving grants, having food drives, sponsoring our families through the holiday season and making masks and sanitizer. Your willingness to help the families we service, at the Christian Action Guild, has made all the difference to them. 

 

Your support, especially during these most challenging times, has been critical. We have been blessed in abundance. We are truly grateful to you for your generosity and kindness.

Christmas Under the Tree Event

Thank you golden for your generous support of our Christmas Under the Tree event. You help us provide 

367 individual with Christmas gifts, grocery gift cards, stocking stuffers, and a holiday meal box including a turkey. This is an estimated value of $38,000.

Food Pantry and Thrift Store Operations

All thrift store customers and food pantry clients MUST wear a mask at all times. You will not be admitted into the building if you do not have a mask or a face cover. You must sanitize your hands upon entering the building.

NO PETS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FOOD PANTRY OR THE THRIFT STORE. Service animals are an exception. Please plan accordingly.

Food Pantry:

We will be keeping with the modified pantry services for the foreseeable future. 

Clients will fill out a personalized pantry order based on items available. This order will be filled by volunteers and the order will be pick up at the outside tables.

Overstock pantry visits will have the opportunity to fill out a personalized order. Overstock will continue to be pick up from the outside tables.

We will also be offering additional items outside on tables and shelves. These items will consist of surplus perishable food items and other items. These items will vary from day to day and week by week and are available to both full and overstock pantry visits.

Thrift Store:–

WE WILL BE ACCEPTING DONATION ON WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS FROM 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM ONLY.
